Accessory Dwelling Units, or ADU's, are generally accepted as a key component of a comprehensive housing affordability solution, with the core product required fitting neatly into both Elemental's Integrated Project Delivery and custom Industrialized Offsite Construction processes.

State level legislation and associated structural policy frameworks are moving relatively quickly to facilitate ADU implementation including financing, although municipal level approvals remain stubbornly fragmented - this demanding a custom design approach.

 

​Elemental maintains an inventory of architecturally designed ADU base models in the 450sqft to 900sqft range that cost between $225 and $250 per square foot as a fully commissioned home ready to occupy. The cost only varies due to geographic location and local permitting costs, and the base model designs are tailored to suit both customer requirements and local municipality approval requirements.
